Since 2004 research of Kuwaiti-Slovak Archaeological Mission (KSAM) is focused on Al-Khidr site from Bronze Age situated at the northernmost promontory of the Island of Failaka.

Failaka

Exept this main target KSAM started systematic survey of the archaeological sites at Failaka in 2006 with goal to fix them within used geographic coordinate system, to start more detailed research of selected sites and followingly to create interactive digital map of the sites in GIS environment to present them in attractive way to public in the future.
